You spoilt us rotten, went out of your way to help us and even let Joshua play computer games on your office computer - that was two years ago in May 2006. We do not expect you to remember as you have so many guests, but we have never forgotten what wonderful hospitality we received from you - and we stayed in the penthouse, which made Joshua's trip.....

Fantastic! Had a great stay. Nice hotel and facilities. We were well attended. Got good advice on places to see and eat.

Our stay was excellent. Our hosts, Banardo & Miguelle were fantastic. Both were helpful with regards to what to do and where to go. They made our bookings promptly. The food is excellent. Banardo was extremely patient with us, especially when we arrived for breakfast late. I would advise anybody looking for a B & B in Maputo to stay here.

The whole stay there was fantastic, the people there were friendly. They made you feel like you were part of their family. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Like many holiday travellers, we have come to expect accommodations to be less than their bidding. That's why we were pleasantly surprised with the marvelous service, ambiance and facilities - which more than met our expectations at Sundown Guest House. We were particularly impressed with Denis, Bernado and other members of the staff in terms of their attention to our needs, which was a cherry on top of what was a wonderful experience.

I truly recommend Sundown Guest House to anyone coming to Maputo. Rooms are clean, spacious and light, and air conditioner works. Food is excellent and there are always cold beers in the fridge. The neighborhood is calm and not far from city town. But the best of all is the staff, Denis included. We spent over a week there with a 7 month old baby, we felt better than at home. The staff was at any time ready to go out of their normal duties to help us. The same is said about Denis, always ready to help, solve problems or give you information about whatever needed. Thanks Denis and Sundown Guest House staff for having treated us like old friends.

We were a little nervous about going to Maputo - especially after the experience of crossing the border with a car from South Africa!! We arrived at Sundown after an "interesting" journey through Maputo - people everywhere, taxis full and ignoring things like traffic lights. We entered an oasis of calm. Denis is incredible - went out of his way to get tickets for us, gave us advice, suggested excellent restaurants. Staff were very friendly. We highly recommend a visit to this fascinating city. Its easy to get around, felt in no danger whatsoever and met people just trying to make a living. They live in a "community" setting which we so often have forgotten about in our western world.

We just want to say thank you to all the staff at the guesthouse who made our holiday an extremely enjoyable and satisfying experience. The service we received was of a very high quality and one which you would not receive at a hotel or other big establishments. Our every request was catered for by the extremely friendly staff who were very efficient. We would recommend this accommodation very highly. A special thank you to Denis who was also very helpful with information as to the lovely sights of Maputo. Congratulations to him for this superb guesthouse. Kind Regards

Our stay at Sundown Guest Lodge was everything as promised. The staff are all friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Maputo. Well done Denis on your great establishment.

We were delighted with our accommodation at the Sundown Guest House. Denis really stands out, making his guests feel at home. His Honesty Bar was something very special. We would recommend the Sundown Guest House to anybody wanting to stay in Maputo.

My colleague & I were welcomed by Denis at the gate & were immediately offered refreshments. We were very pleased with the establishment, as it offered everything we needed. Safe parking, ice cold beers, good food, a great room & all at a very reasonable price. (Maputo is expensive !) Well done to Denis & the Sundown Guest House team.

This is not a corporate, faceless, get them in ship them out kind of place. If you are reading this, you are thinking about this place - do yourself a favor and if you can afford it - STAY! Come down to the bar, have a drink and talk to the owners. This place is a little diamond! Have a nice time here. We did.

We had a wonderful time here. We were made feel so welcome. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be sad to leave. I would highly recommend to stay here short but better long term. Thank you so much.
